This is my first frank. What do I need to know?

At frank you’ll connect to an instant community. We will have frank connectors on hand to help with your gathering questions, navigate the Recess sessions, expand your network and even recommend the best place to find chicken and waffles. A Facebook group will get you started before you arrive in Gainesville.

When do I need to be there?

frank is about community. You’ll want to be here from the moment we gather until our last goodbye. Shared experiences are amplified, creating a vulnerability that helps establish deep meaningful connections. The gathering opens with a Welcome Rally on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023. We end with a goodbye lunch on Friday, Feb. 17. Check in when you arrive at our registration desk on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Place Downtown. Make your travel plans accordingly!

What is included in my registration fee?

In-person:
  • Tuesday: Welcome Rally featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
  • Wednesday: Lunch and evening social
  • Thursday: Lunch and evening social
  • Friday: Farewell after-party
  • Coffee bucks and drink tickets, valid at area coffee shops and restaurants
  • New friends and instant community
  • Florida in February
  • Access to all frank sessions
  • Access to all frank social events
  • Access to all Recess (breakout) sessions
  • Access to the frank lounge
Online:
  • Access to all frank mainstage speaker sessions
  • Access to all special Recess (breakout) sessions for online participants
  • Networking sessions designed specifically for our online participants
  • New friends and instant community
  • A special box of frank goodies if you register by Dec. 31, 2022

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

If you can’t make it (so sad!) yes, you may transfer your ticket. Please contact us at frankgathering@gmail.com.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes! If you want to change or add any details and don’t have an Eventbrite account, simply
email us at frankgathering@gmail.com.

What if I need to cancel?

We hate to see you go, but if your plans change:
  • Until Nov. 1, 2021 – order cancellations will be processed at full price.
  • Nov. 1- Jan 1, 2021 – 50 percent refund
  • After Jan. 1, 2021 – No refunds processed.

Where do I book my hotel?

The frank headquarters is the Hyatt Place in downtown Gainesville. 

We also have a block of rooms at the the AC Hotel Marriott and the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown. Book early as these hotels will sell out.

How can I become a sponsor?

We are hugely grateful to our supporters. They provide critical support that makes it possible to offer our participants a more affordable registration fee as well as supporting the work of the frank online community.
